Love can be hard!
I would not want you to feel that all this love stuff comes easily!
Certainly in relationships love can mean facing things from the past so that you can move on in the present. It also means facing up to things in the present so that love is shared even more.
Love means not being content with the status quo but struggling to allow love to permeate all areas of life and move you closer together.
That means not allowing all your past behaviours to control what you do - not to run, not to hide and not to be afraid to talk in case you upset the person you are with.
Love means allowing yourselves to be open to grow more closely and communicating with honesty. How else can you move forward?
Love then means allowing healing in all areas of our lives including the sexual - so that we begin to allow the spiritual into the sexual. This transforms it from something purely instictual into a powerful experience that involves all areas of our lives.
So Tantra for example entwines in its thought the elements of sexuality and spirituality - not simply the sexual. Reduced to techniques sexual activity may become much enhanced - but to omit the spiritual still leaves it as a shadow of what is possible
We are not looking for people to agree but to debate - the very idea of integrating all areas of life is in itself incredibly hard to understand talk about and achieve!
