Loving others

 

Well! Loving yourself is hard enough - so how on earth do you get to love other people?

 

When you love yourself as you should then loving other people is not so much a thing you do out of duty or drudgery but something that comes naturally.

 

The trouble is people can be pretty horrible! We are human after all so surely we can be excused for not feeling loving towards others?

 

Separating the person from their behaviour may help. If you are one of those who wishes to love and to love others then it seems important to us to view the person in light of who they are and the love they deserve.

 

Focussing on their behaviour often gets in the way and obscures that part of them which cries out for the kind of love you can offer .
